The first Tunisian - Uganda Business forum was a two-day event that took off on 6th December 2021 at Kampala Serena Hotel, Uganda with the aim of consolidating the relationship between the Ugandan -Tunisian Private Sector in terms of trade and business. The conference was graced by delegates from Both Uganda and Tunisia, Representatives from the Private Sector of Uganda, Private Sector Foundation, Uganda Chamber of Mines, both Tunisian and Ugandan traders,  

The launch of the event was marked off with the signing of a Memorandum of understanding between Private Sector Foundation Uganda and the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, which was done by Private Sector Foundation Uganda Deputy Executive Director Mr. Francis Kisirinya and Tunisia Trade and Handicrafts Vice President Maher Ben Aissa.

This partnership is expected to bring about, long-term goals of closer working relationships, Tunisia - Uganda Business to Business interactions, cross-border trade, and investments between the two countries, as well as regular and frequent business-to-business sessions between enterprises from both countries.
