Uganda Somalia hold first ever business summit together
Wednesday, 10th August 2022, Kampala. The business communities of Somali and Uganda held the first ever business summit at the Speke Resort Munyonyo as they explored potential trade opportunities. Corporates and the business group from Somalia and Uganda showcased their products and services with intention to attract investors, partners and markets.
HE The President of Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni together with Somalia’s newly elected president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended the summit and applauded business people for taking the initiative to interact and share business information. Both Presidents expressed their views on how to ease the cost of doing business between the two countries, and informed delegates that business people contribute to integration and growth of economies.
