Private Sector Foundation 25th Annual General Meeting

PSFU's 25th Annual General Meeting was held today at Hotel Africana on the 2nd of December 2021.  In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, in order to reduce the rate of infection, the event was a hybrid event with most members attending online. During the course of the event, private Sector Foundation Uganda announced the appointment of the new Executive Director, Mr. Stephen Asiimwe who took over from the Late Mr. Gideon Badagawa. The decision came through the Private Sector Foundation Board of Directors after an extensive, protracted, and rigorous interview and search process and was made on 26th November 2021.  "Mr. Asiimwe has over 30 years of experience and is one of the most highly-skilled, talented, versatile, honest, and multi-disciplined accomplished and experienced business managers in the Eastern African region,'' according to PSFU board chairman, Dr. Hon. Elly Karuhanga. The Annual General Meeting also bore the announcement of Mr.Daniel Kazibwe aka Ragga Dee as a board member representing the Arts, Culture, and Creative sector. The AGM informed members of PSFU's milestones and achievements realized during the year, 2021, and also resolved, in accordance with the proposal from the Board of Directors to approve the appointment of o Jim Roberts CPA as the new auditors of PSFU. Jim Robers COA replaced Sejjaaka Kaawaase & Co.CPA
